🌻How a paediatric PT can help with tension release & identify oral ties
Listen To This Podcast Episode
I was fortunate enough to be a guest speaker for this episode with Madison on her podcast, The Postpartum Plan.
In this episode, we discuss:
🌻What are infant reflux, silent reflux & colic?
🌻What signs & symptoms you might see in your baby, including any yellow or red flags to look out for
🌻Some of the most likely causes of baby reflux & how I can help you to not only understand why they're happening, but how together we can solve the confusing puzzle that is reflux
🌻I mention the importance of burping your baby with reflux during the episode, so you can find my Instagram reel on 3 burping techniques here.
CONCERNED ABOUT poop?
Never thought I’d say this, but I get asked about baby’s poop a fair bit these days & it isn’t always a straightforward answer. The truth is, there is no magic answer to what it should look like, as babies can produce all colours of the rainbow & yet many will still be considered normal!
🌻Is it an allergy or intolerance, like CMPA?
🌻What does blood or mucus mean?
🌻How long should I be concerned about constipation?
My go to resource for parents when it comes to learning about what your baby’s poop might look like is here: Free to Feed’s Diaper Decipher.
While it’s important to find out is what’s causing it, you should ask your paediatrician if you are worried about your baby’s health.
